1872 A Bump In The Road

Good evening, everyone, how are we all? Are you getting in the Christmas spirit? I hope everyone is having a good time no matter if you celebrate Christmas or not.

I have a confession to make. The next stationery is not ready. I hit a bit of a glitch. Monday and Tuesday I was super organised and got things ready. And then on Wednesday I was the victim of a hit-and-run.

It is a long story, but it’s been a very stressful, headache-inducing kinda week. I have either been on hold or waiting for a call back since it happened on Wednesday, and I just didn’t get the chance to sit down and give my full attention to the post. I had to figure out how to get to work without a car, work out how to get a new one, figure out insurance, police report etc.

I will confirm no one got badly hurt, which is the main thing. My car did not survive, the entire right-hand side is just scratched, and dented, bits of the metal missing etc, he got both wheels, even the roof and there wasn’t even 1 cm left of my mirror, it completely disintegrated, the glass from my mirror scratched my window and I’ve got a few little scratches on my hand from touching the car. I’m a bit sore and achy on the right side (where the car hit us).

I do think the guy was on his phone and potentially intoxicated. But I am not sure we will ever know.

Hopefully, this week I can do a bit of catching up and have the stationery post for you before 2022.
