66 Add a little Moisture with No.7

This lipstick is possibly my current favourite, it is not new, I don’t know if it came out with the original collection. It is not a limited edition. In my early years of makeup, I wasn’t a big fan of lipstick because it either didn’t stay on very long or dried your lips out. I really struggle with dry lips, so the stains and the long-lasting colours weren’t for me. I also didn’t like having to carry around lipstick and a mirror to reapply when it had rubbed off. So I just stick to lip gloss and lip balm most days.

When I decided to get into makeup professionally, I thought that using lipstick was probably much within this area, so I started experimenting with different brands and different colours and quickly found out the colours that suited my skin tone. I don’t get on with pinks at all, some people say that a really bring pink or red will look good but I disagree.

The packaging is very sleek and classy. It isn’t the smallest packaging so if you are running out of space in your lipstick drawer you might want to watch out for that. Not quite ideal for travelling but I would take this away with me in a handbag as it wouldn’t use up a huge amount of space. It would look very nice in a lipstick display box though and the packaging is likely to protect well which is always good for a makeup product because they aren’t exactly cheap to replace if needs be.

The price of it in Boots is £9.95 for this product. I wouldn’t normally spend this much on lipstick but it is a lovely product because it is fairly long-lasting, it definitely doesn’t wipe off five minutes after you have applied it but it doesn’t dry your lips out like most. I believe that is why it is called moisture drench as it does keep your lips moist.

Getting on to the review I must say how much I really love this lipstick, it stays on reasonably well, I normally apply it twice throughout the entire day unless I need to look perfect in which case I am constantly making sure it is full but don’t have to touch up every time I look which I like. On an average day, I will normally put the lipstick on and after I have eaten my lunch check the look and go from there.

Now do I regret buying this product? No, I am happy that it made its way into my basket. Would I repurchase it? Yes, I will definitely be replacing this product when I have used all of it. Would I recommend this product? Yes, this is a great dark brown with a nice shimmery white reflective quality in it.
