114 An Extra Bit

So today is possibly the only time I will post a blog post on the 29th of February. I mean how many times will it fall on a Monday?

I have been thinking all day about the date, some people see it as a special day, so people will know it as a payday, maybe a birthday or an anniversary. If you have your birthday or any type of celebration, comment below, or contact me. I am intrigued to know how you celebrate it every other year that the 29th does not appear. Do you celebrate on the 28th of Feb or the 1st of March?

I have heard people saying that today is the day that women can propose to their significant other, it could be a man but could also be a woman. What do you think? It is a lot of pressure don’t you think? I mean proposals go wrong all the time, traffic or weather but you can do it the next day or a week later. But if you want to propose on the 29th of Feb if you miss your 24-hour slot you will have to wait 4 years to try again.

Would you let a date decide if you propose to your partner? Do you treat today like it is any other or do you do something special? Thinking about it, I believe I was born in a leap year. If you’re superstitious that could mean something, let me know if you think it makes something different.
