26 Classic Carmex

If you know me, you will know me and lip balms are like two peas in a pod, inseparable! I like Carmex products, they work which I love, because not all lip balms do and when something is advertised to do something it really annoys me when it doesn’t do what it says on the tin! These products are a little on the pricey side, but I can deal with that if it stops my lips from bringing dry and cracked which is painful, I find that Saver’s does a lot of Carmex products cheaper than Boots and Superdrug.

This was the first product I ever bought from the brand. I really like the idea of a pot as it was different and unique compared to most other lip treatments. I got the classic one first because quite often the different scents/flavours will make the actual product work and look slightly different so the best way to find out if you like a brand for the brand is to use the original first and then go further if you like it.

Now first impressions were great, loved it. Was really enjoying the results of the product, it has a menthol feel to it as well so would be great for a cold too which in England comes in handy!

The only problem I had with this product was that I have long nails so it is a little tricky getting the product out of the container without leaving a massive dent in the product which you guys are probably thinking so what but there will be someone out there thinking “Yes Soph, that is really annoying” Or even worse having most of it under my nail and we all know that underneath nails are NOT clean so putting that bit of product back in the pot is contamination and I don’t like wasting product.

Would I repurchase Carmex? Yes, and I have bought it 4 or 5 times over but probably not going to be getting the pot as it doesn’t work for me, but I do like the product. So, 10 out of 10 for the product. And YES I do recommend this for everyone. A couple of my friends have stolen it while I’m not looking and have gone straight to the shop to buy their own.
