1388 Clinique rinse-off Foaming Cleanser Review

First things first, I love it. Now I have only used it once and I already love it. (However, I have now used it multiple times and I am still loving it.) I have never fallen in love with a product so quickly before, I am not looking forward to the day I use this up because it means I will have to go and buy it.

As you may know, I am trying to use products up instead of having to store them all and I was doing well until Christmas happened with all the sales. I believe I got this as a freebie with an order I made. Clinique as a company is amazing for this; I don’t think I have ever ordered without getting free items.

The one I have now is a 30ml tube free, but you can buy one that is a lot bigger. It is pricey for a cleanser if I’m honest, it is £17.50 for 150ml if you buy it from Clinique, you may find it cheaper elsewhere. At Christmas, I got a battery-powered cleansing brush device (which I also love). The two together work wonders! I will be honest I didn’t use it to remove makeup, I just used it as a face wash, isn’t that just what a cleanser is? Even just putting a bit on your hands to apply to your face your hands feel cleansed. The product foams up into a lather well. It leaves your skin feels squeaky clean, smooth, and oil-free. I have never experienced such an effective cleanser before, it is pretty much instant results (short-term results). I did find it quite drying so I would recommend having a good moisturiser on hand.

I probably won’t be using it every day because it is quite strong, and I don’t think my skin will appreciate that for everyday use, but I can 100% see it becoming a staple in my skincare routine. I used quite a good blob, maybe about a 10p-sized amount. I just did this much because I was using the cleansing brush. I can’t even see a dent in the product in the packaging so the 30ml lasted me a fair amount of time.

For those of you that already use Clinique and their website, you may know that they have a review section that also leaves a rating area. This product is quite highly rated. There are over 100 reviews on this product. It is currently 4.6 out of 5 which is great. This shows most people using enjoyed it and would recommend it.

If you do suffer from dry skin, it may not be the best product for you because it dives deep into your skin and removes all the rubbish. I would say it has quite the punch in it, so very effective. I have combination skin; it is quite oily but also quite flaky. You will want a decent moisturiser to use after or you can follow the Clinique 3-step products which are designed to work together. I will be honest, I always thought high-end skincare was overrated but I have seen really good results from Clinique with a couple of their products.

I can 100% see myself purchasing this product again, I might wait to use up the products that I have. As much as I like it, I don’t want to be wasting other products because I used this.

If you think it is a bit out of your price range as family and friends for vouchers for your birthday or just ask for this product. It will be a nice treat for yourself.

As always please check the ingredients and if you have sensitive skin, please be extremely careful. If you choose to try the product that is your responsibility, and you must be safe.
