This makeup look doesn’t come from anywhere. I didn’t do much research; it was just a day that I was playing around with makeup and managed to get some good shots. I was going for a black and white look which requires going a little unnaturally heavy on the contour for a picture to show up the shadow.

I wasn’t too sure how it was going to pan out because it was just me, having my makeup and a model in front of me. In this look, I did use an airbrush machine, which I am not a bit fan of. I’m not sure why it just always ended up not looking as nice in my opinion. It could be because I hadn’t practised very well.

Airbrush makeup, I think is more for magazines, photoshoots etc. I wouldn’t personally choose to use it unless it was requested; it is easier and quicker to touch up using your average makeup. With the right tools and the right hand, you can easily get an airbrushed look. Many swear by the airbrush makeup, but I am not a fan.
