Biore Charcoal Pore Mask

These weren’t as effective as I thought they would be. I should know by now that the box or the tin gives you the best scenario from the product, not necessarily the common outcome. I can’t see I noticed a difference when using these. They are quite pricey things at more than £1 per strip that you use once. They are almost £2 for one trip. It says that the effects of the strip last up to 24 hours so you end up using one per day which is over £10 per week in just nose strips so I can guarantee 10% I will not be using these again. I may if they are on offer but at £9.49 for just six, I don’t see any benefits to justify spending £10 on them.

L’Oreal Skin Perfection Serum

I did enjoy this product; I think I preferred this over moisturising because it was easier to use and quicker. I mean you just had to pump a blob which took a few seconds and it sunk into your skin quite quick as well which is always helpful in the mornings. The packaging is a great design and looks fancy, but it was quite heavy (not good for travelling). Also, very loud in the mornings if you drop it while getting ready which in my house is bad. I am generally the only person getting ready as early as I do. I do think I will repurchase this but only when my new one runs out and I can’t get my hands on my favourite one. I do recommend it; it is a very good starting point if you are in the market for a moisturiser.

Boots Cod Liver Oil Vitamins

Right so now I have stopped taking these. I can’t say I could tell the difference between when I was taking these and when I stopped. Sometimes it felt like if I missed them then my problem joint would hurt but I have decided that it was more than likely to be a coincidence. I think I just wanted to believe that these were stopping my joints from hurting but it was like a placebo. Now I have stopped taking them I haven’t been in a lot more pain so I think I will continue to give these amiss. I might find myself reaching for them later but for now, they are on the back burner.

Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Varnish

I love this brand and range of nail varnish; it is just so easy to apply. I wish they did more colours in this but there are only 10 or so colours as far as I know. Also, it is so easy to do two coats and then gets on with it. You don’t have to sit around for ages while it dries. I think I have about 6 colours in my collection so far, but I never hesitate with these. If I like the colour, it is in my basket, a little on the pricy side for a typical nail varnish but it is worth it. I try to get them when they are on offer, so I don’t pay the full price. I will repurchase it; this isn’t my favourite colour, but I will be looking at the range and trying out the other colours. I highly recommend, getting down to your local boots or Superdrug and buying a shade. See what you think, you won’t be disappointed!

Cutex Moisture Guard Nail Polish Remover

I do enjoy doing my nails, I try to do them at least once a week, but it doesn’t always happen because it takes too long. On the weeks when I don’t want to do them properly, I usually go over with a dark colour and then stick glitter on the top. If you use nail varnish, you will know that getting glitter nail varnish off is the longest job. It takes a long time; it is difficult and if you have the tiniest cut it will sting like crazy. I do believe I picked up the wrong one. I don’t like the feeling of my nails after using this product. I do like this brand but not this product. I am going to try another colour when I next need to buy it.

Witch Doctor Skin Treatment Gel

This is possibly the best skin care product I have ever bought. It is called an Astringent; this in short means it is good for oily skin. It is good at drying up the oil so if you have trouble get to your local chemist, boots or Superdrug and pick up one of these. It initially comes in a box, and it isn’t with skin care. It is kept with the medications for some reason. I suppose you can use it for bites and stings as well so that will be why. Please excuse the state of the bottle in the image; I do believe my cat thought it was a toy. Rest assured the cat is fine!

Boots Baby Shampoo

This is not a product that I would normally buy if I were honest; there are no children in my house so why would I need baby shampoo? I can tell you a good ready to have these handy. It is a great product to wash your makeup brushes. It isn’t very expensive; it is usually very gentle because it is for a baby so less likely to have any harmful chemicals or substances in the product. I am not a big fan of the smell of this one, but it did work well. I don’t have a specific baby shampoo that I use but this was on offer when I need some, so I picked it up. I would buy this again, but it will just be if it is the one on offer when I run out of my current one.

Carex Fun Strawberry Laces Hand Gel

I can’t remember how I ended up with this, I must have bought it, but I don’t remember where or why. I am not one to use it all that much, maybe I was going into London in flu season or something. I don’t think the strawberry lace scent was particularly strong, but it was mild compared to other ones. For some of them, the faintest smell is terrible, it is just so strong. This would be a good option if you have children who don’t like to use a normal one, I think it would convince them to use it before they eat while in public.

Right Guard Women Td5 Invisible Anti-Perspirant

I can’t remember why I ended up trying this one, but I ended up loving it and I haven’t changed since. I might get a different one now and then depending on my needs. For example, if I am going on holiday, I like to use one that is in a smaller container as it fits in my case better. I like this deodorant because of the size of the bottle. It lasts well as it is such a big container. I can honestly say this is my favourite deodorant, I didn’t think I would ever have a favourite deodorant. I do recommend this, and I will be repurchasing when I run out. The one thing that puts me off a little is that it is quite the price. I generally get it when it is on offer to save me paying full price, I have a backlog at the minute because they were half price, and then I went to stay at a different house and forgot to bring it, so I had to run out and get some.

Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

I have recently stopped using this as much, I am not sure why. I still like this product and I do use it but not every day. I think it has something to do with the fact I had to get up at 6 and getting ready properly at 6 in the morning just doesn’t work for me. Who has the concentration to do a nice, neat line of eyeliner in the dark? I want to start wearing this more often again because I love a good eyeliner but that means I would have to get up earlier as I am out of practice. I have already repurchased this product even if I have barely used it. I do recommend giving this one a go, I love how dark it is.

Vo5 Mega Hold Gel Spray

I did a makeup and hair course at college for a year, and during that year we use gel spray. I liked the idea of it, so I bought some myself and hated it. I did not like this product; I can say I didn’t finish it. It got so old that it dried up in the spray tube, so it was unusable. I wish I did use it because it probably would have been helpful with hair, when I get around to it, I will try another brand and hope I prefer that one. This is probably the product for someone with thick hair whereas mine is very fine, or maybe I was just using it wrong. If you know a good one, please leave it down below in the comments sections.

MaXfactor Skin Luminizer Foundation

This was a difficult product, I had it for a few months, used it a couple of times and didn’t like it. I am not sure why it just didn’t do anything for me, so I was a bit disappointed. It came the day when it was 7:30 in the morning and I had run out of my favourite foundation, so you do that panic of trying to find one that you just shoved in your draw. This is the first one that came to hand, so I grabbed it knowing that I have tried it before and didn’t like it. Turns out I do kind of like it, for some reason this day it worked for me. On other days I had tried it I wiped it off straight away and started again but this time it looked okay. It isn’t my favourite, but it worked, I then decided that I may as well use it up instead of wasting it as they aren’t the cheapest of products. When it had run out, I thought about repurchasing, but I ultimately decided against it. Not because I didn’t like it or that it was a bad product but because it was too dark for my skin, many people joke that I am paler than a plain piece of paper. It is so hard to find a light enough foundation; I often must mix a pure white into the foundation I am using to get the right shade. Had they had a shade or two lighters, I would have purchased it, but I think I need a tan if I want to use this one again. It is a nice product though.

Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer X2

I do know about you, but I am in love with this concealer, I can’t remember when I started using this, but I haven’t used anything different since. I do want to experiment a bit, but it is hard when you find a product you like, and it works for you it is hard to try something different. It is a comfort zone deal; it is hard to break out of your comfort zone. I do like this product, and I will or already have purchased the replacement. If you don’t have bad skin like I do you could get away with just using this on a chilled-out day. If you are not doing it all day but you like to put a bit of makeup on, try this out. I also like that it is a good price, under £5. These days it is hard to find makeup products under a tenner that is any good. It is all about the high-end brands which do mostly have good products, but they aren’t always necessary. I try to avoid expensive products for everyday makeup, I just don’t see the point in using hard-earned money to put it on for work or school. I mean if you want to then go ahead there is nothing wrong with it. I just prefer to use the cheaper brands every day. I only wipe it off as soon as I get in the door from work.

L’Oreal Paris Perfection Correcting Moisturiser X2

Now, this was a desperate type of purchase, but one day I decided that my skin needed some desperate help. I decided one day that my skin needed some help, I have never really looked after my skin, always been quite lazy in that way but I decided about a year ago that I want to start trying to look after it. I just went into boots and picked the one that was on offer, which was as above the L’Oreal Paris Perfection Correcting Moisturiser. I did really like this product at first, it worked, and I saw an improvement. Even my mum said my skin looked better, not amazingly better but it wasn’t as dry or dull looking. The packaging is beautiful, a little heavy for my liking as it is glass, but I don’t think it would be nice to travel with. This product isn’t horrible, I would use it again because it did make a difference, but it isn’t my favourite, I have discovered a new favourite which I am enjoying at the minute, and I cannot wait to try more of their products. I would repurchase this just not until I have run out of the one, I am currently using. I would also recommend it, let me know if you give it a go.

The Body Shop Seaweed Oil Balancing Clay Face Mask

I got this product in a set of three, I was most excited about this one because I love a good clay mask. I have oily skin so I thought this would be a good one to try out. I do believe I have a full review of this product. I haven’t used it for a couple of months. I do remember liking this product, it was a nice mask and an effective one. The main thing that let it down is either the formula or the packaging. I can confirm that I didn’t get a chance to use the entire product, I was rather disappointed at the fact that it had dried up and set in the pot. This means you would have to use the entire product over a week or two, which I don’t think I will be doing. It is over £10 for just one, you can get cheaper face masks that last longer than a month. It was a nice product to try but I don’t think I will be repurchasing this.
