I like this product but wouldn’t recommend it for travelling, I will be keeping it in my make-up draw as I do have a favourite mascara now. When it runs out, I probably won’t rush to repurchase it but will pick it up when I get the change. The tube of product is pretty chunky so you get a good amount of product in it which is always good! I hate it when you spend £10 on a product and it is so small it only lasts a couple of weeks. I tend to stick with a small wand on a day-to-day basis but if I want my eyes to pop just a little bit more then this is the mascara, I find myself reaching for.
Again like all Rimmel products the colours are contrasting so are very easy to read so you definitely know what you are buying. I also find a lot with mascaras that if they are waterproof it is rarely clearly stated. It is often smaller writing compared to the rest and sometimes written on the sticker with the barcode. So you find yourself searching the writing for the word “Waterproof”.
When I got this for the first time I believe it was new or on special so I actually had a sales assistant offer it to me and thought why not.
I can’t say this mascara sticks out from the crowd for me, but it isn’t one I regret buying, it is decent, and works to a good standard but not the right formulation and wand combo for me in particular.
When it comes to mascara, it is very difficult to recommend to someone, you can only really tell them that it worked well or it didn’t work well for you as you will have different requirements for the mascara. So, when choosing a mascara think about what you would like it to do, say you want it to add volume go on a review website and if it says that it doesn’t give volume in more than 50% of the reviews then I would say go for a different one for volume.
