This product is pretty much the same as the translucent powder which is in a previous post. Possibly the only difference is that this one adds colour and sets the foundation instead of just setting it, so it adds a bit of a summer glow if your foundation is a little pasty looking. You could use it as a subtle bronzer.
Unless the powder is translucent it will change the overall colour of your makeup, it will set the foundation and it may give it a matte finish but the colour of the base is going to change as will any contouring you have done which includes shading, highlighting and adding blush.
If you have used a bright blush then it is likely to make the colour a little duller and more of daytime looks so I would recommend using this on top of your blush if you are going for a natural day look or you aren’t sure about the colour of your blush.
I would buy this again as I do like the Rimmel powders, they work well for me. Go out and give this product a shot, the price is good, there is a range of shades and a good amount in the pot so they last a while.
The only complaint is that my last few have started to break up towards the end of the product but I throw it around a lot, in and out of bags and suitcases, etc so it really depends on how you look after the packaging etc.
