I wanted to have a little chat…

Nothing too formal, just me being honest. Purely my opinion. Can you believe it is almost December??? I definitely can’t, just yesterday it was September or at least that is what it feels like. Time flows past way too quickly. Does anyone remember the line of Pirates of the Caribbean where Captain Jack says, “I like those moments, I like to wave at the as they pass by”? It feels like I didn’t even get the opportunity to wave at them this year.

What I want to say is …

Christmas is definitely getting closer and closer. Lights, trees and homes are being decorated to match the festive season but. Sadly, it isn’t always a happy holiday, it can be a time of sadness, a time of tragedy, a time of happiness, it is a time for anything. Forget the presents, the money, what you have. If you have one person that loves you, that’s all that matters. A time like this is about enjoying your days, with the people around you as well as people who are watching from afar.

There are many people who are on their own over Christmas, what would you say to them? Would you sit there complaining you didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas? Nope, well I hope not anyway. This Christmas, I want you to think about what you have, don’t think about what you don’t have or what you have lost. Those who love you will be with you on Christmas if you can see them or not.

If someone has upset you or made you angry, ignore them they want to see you having a horrible time so ruin their day by having a good one. Don’t be afraid to tell them either. Turn the tables yourself, get inspired, get motivated and forget them. You can have a great day no matter what, all you must do is make the decision.
