Good morning, and good evening to everyone who has come here today to read my latest post. I know I have been a bit off my game lately. I’ve been quite the busy bee. If you haven’t been hanging around much, you may not know, but I decided to move my website earlier this year. That meant I either had to leave all my posts behind or move them over. I have more than 2000 posts on my old website. So, getting them, all uploaded here is taking me a while. I am about a quarter of the way done so far.
I also haven’t been using many new products, so it’s been a bit tricky finding a product to review that I haven’t reviewed already, I have been concentrating on using up all my products in storage instead of buying new ones. I have given some away, I have donated a few etc.
So… here are a few bits that I have used up, please ignore that they are a little bit boring product. I will get back to the exciting new releases soon.
Oriflame Love Potion
Oriflame Pure Skin 2-in-1 Mask
Oriflame Pure Skin Dual Action Face Mask
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Oriflame Love Nature Ice Pops Scrub Sachet
Kleenex Balsam Tissues
Oriflame Optimals Hydra Matte Balancing Daily Fluid
Oriflame Hair X Colour Reviver Mask
Tesco Fred & Flo Fragrance-Free Baby Wipes
Oriflame Love Nature Shampoo and Conditioner
The Body Shop Satsuma Hand Cream
Oriflame Milk and Honey Gold Hair Mask
Shall we get on to telling you more about these products?

LOVE this product, I have bought multiple! I never thought I would be a spray/perfume person. When I was growing up and during school, I was never one to ask for perfume for birthdays and Christmas. I know the world went through a Charlie body spray phase. I liked Charlie black the best. Of course, the impulse body sprays were all the rage, but apart from a good body spray, a perfume would last me months, and sometimes years.
However, over the past 18 months, I have gotten into my perfumes and sprays. This one, whenever I used it, my mum would ask me if I was wearing Jean-Paul, which is a very expensive perfume. About £70 a bottle! This one is only £30 (full price), and when it is on offer you can get it for around £20 for a 50ml bottle. I have to say, I have been impressed with the Oriflame sprays, not one of them has let me down. They have all been very nice. They last well, the only downside to this one is… I can’t do the lid so that bit goes straight in the bin.
If you would like to pick it up for yourself, click the button below and follow the link or message me via the contact page and I can arrange to get one for you.
Oriflame Pure Skin 2-in-1 Mask
I am not going to lie to you, I was expecting to love this product. There is just something about a two-step mask that makes it feel fancy. Do you know what I mean? When I first got my hands on it, it was a brand-new product.
It does make a nice additional item in a gift when you are not sure what to put in. Going back to the product, the main aspect that I don’t like… I struggle to open it. I end up needing to cut it with scissors, so I need to remember to either grab scissors or cut it beforehand. However, once you have got it open, it is a lovely product. It feels nice on the skin, is easy to apply, easy to take off, and has good results. What more could you want? I have used it multiple times now and I have a few more to use up. I may buy them again if I saw them on offer, but I have moved away from sheet masks now just because they are quite expensive for a one-use product, more waste, harder to open. I’d rather pay £10 and get a bottle of multiple masks.
Oriflame Pure Skin Dual Action Face Mask
This is similar to the product above; I prefer this one. It comes from the same line/collection (the Pure Skin range). It is still a good deal, even at full price, it is on the cheaper side for 2 masks. I bought multiple of these when they were on offer (I always take advantage of a good deal). As I mentioned above, this is also a good product to throw on top of a present. I enjoy the hot and cold aspects of this mask. It gives it a real edge over your average one-use face mask, don’t you think? Out of the two pure skin masks this one I can feel it working. The cooling is very refreshing and feels awakening for the skin. I typically leave masks on for longer than the instructions say because I just like to chill out and if I am watching a timer then it’s not as relaxing. Out of the two, I would repurchase this one but only if I was travelling as sheet masks are easy to travel with.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
It is not a secret that I am a particular shade of PALE. I refer to myself as vampire chic. I usually find that the shade of porcelain in foundations is still quite orange for me. There is only one foundation in my 10+ years of wearing makeup that was a tad too pale for me, and I was a little bit excited to find this. I would like to congratulate NYX; they are the only company I have found that has a shade that matches my skin.
I won’t lie, I have got rid of this foundation because of how old it was. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to risk putting it near my skin.
But I do know it was a good match for my skin, it looked nice on my skin, and it was light and gentle. I will repurchase this foundation… but at £35 a bottle, I am going to wait until I need a foundation and it is on offer. Luckily for me… I rarely change the shade of pale. I tanned ever so slightly this year. Which I was a bit overly excited about because I have never tanned in my life!
Oriflame Love Nature Ice Pops Scrub Sachet

Firstly, and unfortunately, they discontinued this product so I cannot share a link with you! Again, it’s a shame because the scent was beautiful, and I did like the product. The sachet is a great idea for travel (when we can) and for sampling a product or as a little gift add-in. The price of these wasn’t offensive, £2 for one sachet. I don’t understand limited edition products because you can’t repurchase them if you do like them. I now try to avoid limited edition products for myself. If I could, 100% I would buy it again, the scent was LOVELY, the sachet was a great idea, and the product was refreshing and summery. A nice little self-care love.
Kleenex Balsam Tissues

I will keep this one short and sweet, you know I use lots of these! I am constantly having to blow my nose. I have had the operation to fix my nose now but for some reason, it is being super running again. It is driving me mad. It is also winding my colleagues up at work. One of them went and got me a box of tissues because it was annoying them so much. I like these tissues; they are the only ones that I can use regularly that don’t make my nose sore.
Having a sore nose, that’s red and raw, is one of the worst parts of having a cold. Avoiding that makes the experience just that little bit less unpleasant. They are a little pricey at £2 a box, but 100% worth it. I buy them in bulk from amazon.
Oriflame Optimals Hydra Matte Balancing Daily Fluid

Truthfully, it wasn’t my favourite product, and I didn’t use it up before it got a bit old. It was a very loose consistency; I would say it was quite similar to a serum. I will admit I am TERRIBLE at remembering to use face creams. I do think it would be much more effective if I used it regularly. I did notice that when I applied it my skin would feel quite tight and there was a very subtle sting. Unfortunately, this is another product that has been discontinued and I couldn’t find a similar option. I don’t think I would repurchase this one. It wasn’t a bad product; it just didn’t seem to grab my attention or fit well with my skin. It’s also quite pricey for the size. 50mls for £14.
Oriflame Hair X Colour Reviver Mask

Straight off the bat, this one is also on the pricier side. £8 for 100mls. You may have me down as a cheap skate; however, my hair is pretty long. Therefore, I use quite a lot of products in it when washing and caring for it. When it comes to products such as this, there are only 200mls which is about 6 or so washes for my hair. On top of shampoo and conditioner, a mask of this price just makes washing my hair quite expensive. Leave-in treatments are a little bit different, but you put this on and wash it off 5 minutes later. So, your £8 goes down the drain. Apart from the price, it was a nice product, smelt good, was easy to use, and the post was easy to open and easy to access. My only complaint is that I didn’t notice a difference in the overall health of my hair. I know you have to use products for a little while before you get a result but at £8 a pot, I don’t want to spend £40 on 5 pots not to see a difference and being on the more expensive side I would hope that you would see some improvements or a hint of change with using the first pot.
I couldn’t find the exact mask, but I found a similar one, if you wish to check it out, click the button below.
Tesco Fred & Flo Fragrance-Free Baby Wipes

I will keep this one very short and sweet, I have used these for years. So, I have told you just about everything I can about these. They do have new packaging now (these are quite old). I am trying to move away from one-use products, but I can’t seem to kick the wipes. They are just so handy to have around, particularly now I have my nephew making a mess as well. I do not purchase makeup wipes; they have more chemicals in them. These wipes are made for a baby’s bum, so they are about as gentle as wipes can be.
Oriflame Love Nature Shampoo and Conditioner
Okay, so I have never really bought into shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair. I understand why coloured hair might need a bit of extra TLC, but they always seem to be doubled the price of regular shampoos and conditioners. Have you noticed?
I did like the products; the bottles and I didn’t get on. We were not good friends! I struggle with products because of the issues with my wrist. I have to adapt how I do a lot of things to make it work. I even give up eating dinner sometimes for the reason that it is painful to cut the food. Sometimes I would get some product in my hand, release the squeeze and the bottle sucked the product back in. They are quite small bottles which is a shame as they are pricey for the size. It smelt nice, and the consistency and lather were both pleasant. I don’t think I would repurchase them even if I could, they no longer sell them, do you understand what I mean about limited edition products, what is the point in trying them if you can’t repurchase them?
The Body Shop Satsuma Hand Cream
By now, you should all know, not only do I like The Body Shop, but I also LOVE The Body Shop’s scented product which is called Satsuma. It is a LOVELY scent, it’s fresh, it’s citrusy, the scent lingers and it’s just a nice scent. Their little hand creams are perfect for your handbag, your car, or to travel with. I would 100% repurchase this one, I believe they have changed the packaging, but I am trying to use up my backstock before I repurchase anything. I have quite a few hand creams to get through, so could be a while before I get my hands on this once again, but I do look forward to using this in the next 5 years.
Oriflame Milk and Honey Gold Hair Mask

Lovely scent, and a lovely range of products. I believe I own 90% of the milk and honey range, they do everything from hair, to face, to body creams, to hand scrubs etc. They are nice products, designed for sensitive skin. I like the packaging; the scent is very pleasant and subtle. There are still a few products from this range that I haven’t gotten around to trying yet but overall, I have enjoyed them. Generally speaking, the milk and honey range is quite reasonably priced, but the hair mask is on the more expensive side of the fence. It is £9 for 250mls. Better than the other hair mask I have mentioned above as it is bigger. If I am going, to be honest, I wouldn’t pay £9 for a hair mask, as it is a wash-off product, so it is the money going down the drain. I would repurchase when it is on an offer or as part of a set. I don’t know if you have seen a running theme here, basically, I like to buy things when they are on offer, and you rarely see me buying beauty-related products when they are full price.
Overall, I enjoyed most of these products. Most of them I would repurchase, but a lot of them unfortunately have been discounted. I am not sure if that is a long-term thing or a short-term thing but here, we are.
I hope you enjoyed this empty, if you want to try Oriflame, any of the products I have above or if you want to know what other products are available. Either let me know in the comments, go to my contact me page or follow the link below. For now, I bid you goodnight.
