In light of recent weather in the UK, I thought now would be a perfect time to share this review. Read on if you would like to know what I thought about Lush’s Frozen Bath Bomb.
I do believe that this is no longer on sale at Lush, I don’t know if it is just in the UK or if it is still being sold in other countries. There could be some stock waiting to be sold in stores if you want to try but it is while stocks last so grab one. I am a little confused as to why they would have discontinued this bath bomb, it would have made a great present for a child over Christmas don’t ya think?
I have a mixed opinion about this bath bomb. It didn’t jump out at me like some of the bath bombs do but I wanted to give it a go anyway. So, I grabbed it. I am not a huge fan of films; I know that will be breaking the law in a lot of people’s books. It does have glitter in it which is kind of expected as it is a bath bomb modelled after a Disney movie. Sadly, glitter is a pain in the butt to get rid of, if you have ever dropped a pot of glitter on the floor you will know what I am talking about, you find it for the next 6 months.
As it is no longer on the website, I cannot tell you the exact price, but I think it was £4.50, the featured bath bombs tend to be around £4.50. I do like the colour of this product; I was drawn to the colour more than the name, to be honest. Pretty much anything blue is something I am drawn to. I wouldn’t mind if it had a different scent, it was a bit boring and not very intriguing in my opinion. It does contain rose oil; it doesn’t say how much but if this is true, I am surprised they don’t charge more. Rose oil is particularly expensive to obtain, I believe it takes 12 roses to get one drop, but I could be wrong so don’t hold me to that.
To be honest I only really picked this one up because it was blue. If it wasn’t blue the other features probably wouldn’t have convinced me to buy it. I don’t think I will be rushing back to get another if I could, I don’t think it is on sale still.
It did change the colour of the water which I do love, I may be a child for that, but it just makes it more than just an average bath doesn’t it? I also find it extremely satisfying watching it fizz away while the colour fills the bathtub.
I would have recommended this one if it was still on sale if it ever comes back definitely give it ago. I would probably buy this as a gift more than using it myself.
