If you are anything like me, you want to have a lip balm close by at any time of the day or night. Even when I was younger, I used lip balm after lip balm, lost hundreds of them, and just used whichever one I had at the time.
I decided to find one that worked and after a long search, I found one. I now use the Carmex Ultra Moisturising Vanilla Lip Balm. If you ask any of my friends, they will probably know which one I use and that I have already used up about 10 of them. I like a lip balm to feel like it is on and that it works, this one look almost like a clear gloss when it is applied so 99% of the time, I only wear lip balm instead of an actual lip gloss or lipstick. It is easy to apply, smells good (Vanilla), nice packaging. You wouldn’t lose it in a dark bag as the packaging is a bright yellow making it ideal for travelling. I have tried many different ones but never liked any and none of them really stood out to me. Over the years I have tried everything Nivea, Nivea Lip Butter, Boots, Vaseline, Carmex and numerous more. I like a couple but didn’t love any; it was getting to the point where I had a box of them that I wasn’t using.
Click the button to the right. It will take you to the Boots website. I recommend finding your local Savers first though.
What are the hacks you say? Well, I answer…
Does your lip balm disappear into thin air? Can you never find it when you need to have to leave your lips to crack and become sore? Well, I have the answer. I decided that instead of moving the one I have around my house, leaving it at work, leaving it in my other bag, dropping it on the floor and letting it roll under a unit to collect dust because you can’t reach it, I am going to place them around the places I go and use the one closest.
I want to have 1 in my handbag, desk, bedside cabinet, with my makeup and skincare, at work, office and in my bedroom at my Grandparent’s house. In total that is 7, yes, I know that is a lot, but if I find there is one that I do not use then I am going to remove it from that area. They can be pricy at over £3 in Boots but only £1.49 in Savers.
Let me know if this is helpful for you, if you use my idea or if you think it, is a silly idea. I haven’t tested the idea; I have only started it as off 3 days ago. Wish me luck!
