How many of you struggle with breakouts?
Well, the truth is, the breakouts could be because of your make-up brushes, yet you are using them to cover up your breakouts. After you have used your make-up brushes bacteria on your face is now on your brushes. This is what causes breakouts.
You are meant to clean your brushes after every use, but guess what not many people have time to do this. I know I don’t. I try and wash my brushes at least once a week but that isn’t always possible. It does also depend on how often you use your brushes. On an average week, I wear make-up 5-6 days out of 7. I try my best to make sure every week there is at least one day where my face is allowed to breathe.
So, I often don’t wear any make-up on Mondays as I have nothing to do so I just sort things out at home, do some shopping etc. So I try and wash my brushes Sunday night so they have the entire day Monday to dry.
Come back later to find out different ways to wash your brushes.
