So, I recently started learning to drive. To some, this is scary, and they get really nervous. I didn’t get time to be nervous as I had my first lesson two hours after I found out that I was having a lesson.
In my first lesson, I was more nervous about meeting the driving instructor because well it was a new thing and one of the biggest things you can do a 17 so it is a big step. It turns out my driving instructor is really nice. Then we got to the driving, the first lesson was the most boring. We sat in the car for the first 30 minutes just talking about it, I was saying in my head, “I paid for a DRIVING lesson, not a talking lesson” and let’s face it, it’s not cheap!
Now I have had a lot of lessons and am starting to think about the test, it is scary that time is going so quickly, it is a lot of money at this age but soooooo worth it. I enjoy lessons a lot. There are some days that you have a bad lesson, but no one is perfect, you are always going to make one mistake but that’s okay as long as no one got hurt.
There has been a couple of times I have panicked, but that is normal when you are taking on the responsibility of controlling big machines that can be fatal to you or others around you.
I wanted to drive for as long as I can think, I don’t ever remember not wanting to learn to drive.
So let me know how you felt about your lessons, are you scared, any questions? just ask in the comments.
