154 My Favourite Halloween Things

I have come to realise that there has been a long list of products and activities that I have been enjoying this month. After writing them all down I noticed that they are all products based around Halloween but most of them you could use throughout the year if you wanted to.

Sugar Skull Make-Up, since the beginning of the time when I wanted to become a makeup artist, I was highly interested in sugar skulls I prefer to call them the day of the dead skulls because that is what they actually are, and they do have a purpose. Day of the Dead is a celebration conducted in many places but based in Mexico. It is a day to gather friends and family and remember those who have died in their family tree.

Carah Amelie did one of the coolest Sugar Skull Makeup tutorials I know and I wanted to share with you her work, I really wanted to recreate it but I didn’t get the products in time. Here is her YouTube and Instagram, she also shows the occasional family vlog which is always super cute and shows what a loving beautiful family she has.

BLANKETS… If you are anything like me, as soon as it begins to get cold and dark in the evenings all you want to do is grab a bit blanket, and a hot drink to stay warm and cosy either in front of a movie or doing whatever you want to do. I noticed that my blankets had gotten a little old and disgusting so I threw them out and went on the hunt for a new one. Here is the blanket I found for the winter. It is from Dunelm Mill and was £24.99. I can confirm it is a very soft and warm blanket.

The next one is an activity and a product. Scary movies, I love them. I have yet to find one that has really got me scared.

My all-time favourite Halloween Movie is Hocus Pocus. If you do not know what this movie is I do not know how you are alive. You need to go and watch the classic film about three witches returning from the dead. Other than that movie I love, Scream – all four movies and the 2 season Netflix series, 30 Days of Night, Casper, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, The Uninvited, Cabin in the Woods and The Intruders.

I have been OBSESSED with Terry’s Chocolate Orange, I think I have eaten about four this month, I have shared them with others, but I definitely ate the majority of them. They are currently £1 in Superdrug, grab it while you can, they are usually a little pricy for chocolate right?
