Well, it is officially October. There are two main things I love about October. One is that the clocks fall back so we get an extra hour in bed although that isn’t until the end of the month. I have been late to work when the clocks went forward because my phone wasn’t set to go forward by themselves, and I didn’t get up at the right time. I can confirm that my boss was not particularly happy but after I explained everything was fine. I just had to make the time up during the week.
The second thing I love about October which also happens to be at the end of the month is Halloween, my favourite kind of movie is a horror movie. They aren’t for everyone but the scarier the better in my opinion. I am not a huge fan of chic flicks or romantics but give me a thriller, horror or comedy I am there any day.
Have you seen the new IT film, I wonder if the most popular Halloween costume is going to be a clown this year. If they haven’t already run out of the costumes from a couple of months ago when weird people were dressing up in costumes and attacking people in the dark. I don’t think I encountered one, maybe a little but I didn’t see the face because I just got in my car. It probably wasn’t, there weren’t many sights in my area, in neighbouring areas maybe but not that close to my home.
Back to getting organised, my next step is having a clear-out. My main rule is to STOP buying anything new. I have a small obsession with anything stationary. I think until I have less of what I have already got I need to get rid of what I do have by using them. What I like to do is write a list of things I want to do that will cost more than £100 and I decide which one I will do next. This I can think about while I am getting organised.
