613 October Drawing to an End

This week in England has been the first frosty week. I have been so cold today. The warm and fuzzy pyjamas have been taken out of their dusty bag. I was not prepared or ready for it to be cold. I miss the sun I hate being cold. I struggle to be motivated or productive when it is cold. I love the idea of snow, Christmas trees, hot chocolate, candles, and all things cosy in the winter but the cold just gets to me.

Halloween is around the corner; has anyone did not get their costume ready? I haven’t but I was away in Holland until yesterday evening. If I happen to come across a pumpkin, I might pick one up, but I won’t be going out of my way to find a pumpkin. Are you going to be calving your pumpkin this year? What are you going to do with it? Do you go fancy character or scary face?

So, as it is about to get cold, well freezing. I am starting to get my winter stuff together. The blankets are out, and I mean blankets in the plural. There is honestly nothing better than curling up on my bed with a lovely thick blanket. What is your favourite snack for a winter evening? I love a packet of crisps, a good share bag, and a few candles and I am good to go.

Just two months left of 2018. Halloween, Bonfire Night, then Christmas and New year. I feel like just yesterday it was Easter. This year I have been quite busy, so I have missed a lot of the big holidays as my family was all over the place. We had a lot of family birthdays and celebrations, so they took over mostly. They were also nice though; I would rather be with family than celebrate a holiday for someone else.

Have you made any plans for November? I haven’t gotten that far if I am honest. I am still unpacking and getting organised for my trip, so planning isn’t my strong suit today. Once I have unpacked, I will be playing catch up with my things and after that, I am good to go.
