135 Rimmel London The Max Volume Flash Waterproof Mascara

Lately, I have been in the market for a new mascara, so I have been trying loads of different types and brands out. If you are looking for something new in the beauty world, go into a shop and just get the one on offer. Then you don’t pay full price, so it is less painful if you do not like the product after trying it out. Also, if there is something on offer there is something little information about the product on the display to encourage purchase, but it is about the only time you will get a detailed description of the product unless you research it before.

On my quest to find a new mascara I came across this one and thought I would try it out. Rimmel London is well-known and well-loved. Their mascara collection is rather extensive, at least it was in the boots I went into. I like Rimmel’s other products as well but today is about mascara. Usually, I don’t get on the big mascara wands due to my eyes being small. It makes it hard to get to either corner without covering my skin in the products.

One thing that drew me to this product was the colour of the packaging. It is truly bright and colourful. You will have no trouble spotting this in your makeup collection in the morning when you are half asleep. I like makeup products when they are brightly coloured because I travel around a fair bit, I always find myself looking for things in the bottom of bags, so brightness helps. As far as the shape of the product, it is standard mascara packaging, a rounded tube with a twisted top lid. This mascara I bought in black, I’m not 100% sure if it comes in brown but I am sure there is a similar one around in brown.

I haven’t used this for a while because I ran out a while ago now, but I don’t believe I had any trouble applying this product. Like many other wands, the corner is always tricky, but nothing sticks out to me to say that I hated the wand. It is a mascara with a bigger and fuller-looking wand on it. The product does claim to add up to 14x volume to your lashes. If you are buying the product from boots you will be paying £6.69. Not a bad price for a good mascara, you can buy it in the shop around the corner… what is there to complain about?

Available in other sops to, even some supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s. now did I like this product? Yes, yes, I did. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. The mascara is a good product, does add volume but like every mascara, it does clump if you put too much on. I love the fact that is not hard to see in the morning or at the bottom of the bad. It is black which not everyone likes but the darker the better, without mascara my eyelashes are non-existent, well they appear non-existent. I would repurchase but it is waterproof so not for everyday use in my life.
