308 Sakura Lush Bath Bomb

So, I’m not a huge fan of this bath bomb. I like the scent and its initial appearance of it. Compared to the other Lush products the results were underwhelming, to say the least. The aroma filled the room without a question as usual, but the appearance was not so much, it was a bit boring and just not one on my top list.

The images on the Lush website suggested that within the shell of this product was colour just waiting to burst out, mainly green with some pinkish hints but in fact, there was little to no colour inside. As bath bombs go, this one is on the cheaper side at just £3.75. So, I knew not to expect anything as exciting as some of the higher-priced items, but I did expect a bit of colour. The scent of this bath bomb is floral, not usually something I like, and I prefer sweet smells generally.

I can’t say I loved it or hated it; it was somewhere in the middle. The scent isn’t horrible just not one I would pick out if it was a perfume. I liked how it changed the water, I could be wrong, but it softened the water. If you have no clue what I am talking about,

depending on where you are in the UK the water supply can be different. In my area, the water is quite hard and dries your hands out. I believe you can add chemicals to change this, but I don’t find it to be a problem, just moisturise. Anyway, I feel like this bath bomb contained what you need to make the water soft. I could be completely wrong but that is what I got from it.

There was little change in the colour of the water, which was a bit disappointing. I enjoyed that it took a while to fizz through; it makes it seem luxurious if it takes longer to dissolve in the water. This product is quite mild, probably a good one for sensitive skin. If you have a migraine, or maybe you had a stressful week at work, maybe this would be a great one to use. Not harsh on the eyes, no worries about having to wash the bath to get all the colour after which can ruin the mood. No glitter involved, just a quick, simple, and easy way to have a relaxing bath.

I tend to only use bath bombs when I have a good amount of time to sit back and enjoy them. I like to enjoy them so if I haven’t got time, I think it is a waste of sometimes up to £6 which is a lot of money to waste on a ten-minute bath. If I do buy this once again, I would probably use it on a day when I am short on time if anything would save the ones I love for relaxing baths. This is a good one to just have in your collection when you want to keep it simple.

Overall, I do like this product. I am not sure if I would repurchase it a lot, probably now and then. I don’t think it would be the first one that I pick up when I go into the shop or the first one, I put in my basket online. I would like to give this bath bomb one more chance before I make up my mind if I like it or not. I would recommend you give it a go and let me know how it goes.
