The first thing I would like to point out for this is the scent. It is lovely, I would describe it as a spa smell. It has relaxation and luxury factors in there. I originally got this as a set in the Christmas sales, it kind of got lost in the dust for a while. I can’t remember what inspired it but one day I used it, boy am I glad I did. I fell in love straight away.
As this was a Christmas gift item it wouldn’t surprise me if this item is not available in the size I got. My current tube is 35ml, so quite small but it is lasting a long time for its size. You don’t need a lot. You know the famous saying “A little goes a long way”. I had a look, and you can buy this product in 75ml tubes which are more than double what I have, and the price is £7.50. Not bad seems a bit expensive for a tube of cream but it does work wonders.
It is a lovely brand as well, correct me if I am wrong but I understand that this brand is cruelty-free. This makes me love it even more, such a commendable trait to have. I got introduced to this brand because my mum is a fan of their products. I sometimes use a bit of hers, but I finally decided I should order my own instead of using the product I bought for my mum. We do share as well, but I don’t think this heel balm I want to share.
When I got this, I honestly thought that it would go in a drawer or a box and collect dust (as it did in the beginning). Since then, I have been using it which I am happy about because I hate seeing products go to waste. The thing that shocked me was the difference and improvement it made after just one use. It was like I had two different feet overnight but there were no surgery marks. I don’t know if it is me, but this helped me sleep, I massage it using circular motions which stimulate your blood and get it pumping, I stick a pair of socks on and leave it to work its magic overnight. (More times than not, I wake up without the socks on, but it does help me get to sleep.)
I wouldn’t apply it If you are going to be wearing shoes. The last thing you want is to encourage the infection to take hold. Wait until your feet have time to air and dry out. If you apply this and then walk around all day, it will mix with the sweat and it will be a breeding ground for bacteria. I have heard great things about this product from many people, so I was excited when it was a part of the deal I got. I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that every person was and is correct. It dries/soaks into your skin flawlessly. The scent lingers which I don’t mind. That probably helps with relaxation and sleep anyway.
It feels quite greasy but that’s right because it is a balm, not a cream, but it is so rich and creamy that I barely notice when I am going to sleep unless I have put way too much on then the socks will probably come off too easily. I just keep doing the circular motions until it feels that there is not an excessive amount sitting on top of the skin.
100% I will be repurchasing when my current one runs out (very soon). I am so happy that I discovered this product, I would never have thought to buy cream for my feet, to be honest, so I am glad it came in the set. I do recommend, even if you don’t suffer from dry skin, I would give it a go. This would even make a great gift as no one goes to the shop looking for foot or heel supplies. No one thinks about treating themselves to luxurious foot cream.
