I do believe as I type there is a very light dusting of snow falling. I can’t believe how cold it got overnight. It was more floating around 8 degrees, which is chilly but with a nice jumper, you are good and don’t get too cold.
It was going down to 5 or 6 now and then, like in the mornings or late at night but if you layered your clothing and wrapped up it wasn’t too bad. This week it has gone right down to minus figures, which is horrible. I know it gets a lot colder elsewhere in the world but for the UK when it hits the minus, we just can’t handle it.
I am rubbish when it comes to coping with cold weather; I just end up grumpy sitting wrapped up in three blankets.
All I want to do when it gets cold outside is, go to bed, don’t get me wrong I love snow, I find it so beautiful, and it can be lots of fun for sledging, building a snowman and all sorts of fun games but, I just don’t like the cold that comes with it.
What I am saying is, if you haven’t already, get yourself to your local Tesco, or any supermarket and pick up the warmest-looking scarf, hat, and gloves.
