155 Winter Essentials

If you are living in the UK you will know that winter has definitely arrived and it is going strong. Just the other night I was taking the rubbish out at work and my hands went completely numb. I also had the first day of scrapping ice from my car, which is never any fun.
Winter arrives with many different things, cold weather, a lot of rain, frosty mornings, nights and the nasty bug that is going around. I definitely have already caught the nasty bug and believe me it was nasty.
My winter essentials are a mix of keeping warm, attempting to look presentable and then there is preparation for wintery experiences.
This year my first winter essential was a warm scarf. I did have one, but it was old, ragged, and just wasn’t very nice. Unfortunately, the one I chose is no longer in store. I found it in an outlet shop. Here is one very similar. I can say I didn’t pay that much for it but it is a French Connection scarf
I also love No.7 Moisture Drench in the shade Highlands. It is very similar to the M.A.C one which I bought first. I think I prefer the finish of the M.A.C one but this one is easier to apply.
Costs, my coat is getting a bit old, the sleeves and the hem are now ripped making it look tatty. My favourite places to look for coats are Asda and New Look; I can almost always find a coat here. I actually have my eye on a coat in Asda at the minutes. Here it is.
The next option for me is fluffy socks; you get these in most supermarkets and clothes shops. I have got fluffy socks from Tesco, Asda, New Look, Primark, and TK Maxx.
I need good dark lipstick for the autumn and winter months. I love dark browns, it is more or less the only colour I wear. Not a huge fan of anything else. My all-time favourite is a little hard to find, I have only bought it once, but I love it. It is M.A.C Cremesheen Crème in Your Coffee. It is a very dark brown.
One of winter’s biggest must-haves is tissues. So, when you get a cold, and you have to blow your nose 150 times a day it takes about 3 times before the skin around your nose becomes sore and dry. That was under I found possibly the most amazing tissues ever known. The Kleenex Balsam, I absolutely LOVE them.
Gloves are the final thing on my mind as we get closer to winter. There are always some really cute gloves in the general high street stores such as Top Shop, Miss Selfridge,
Next, New Look and many more. I would love to get the chance to show off some stylish gloves but, now there is a big but. I do drive a car, and wearing gloves means my hands could easily slip on the steering wheel which is potentially extremely dangerous. For me to be able to wear a pair of gloves while I am driving, I have to buy plain black ones that have grips on one side.
