99 Winter has ARRIVED …

I had a bit of a crazy week last week and had no time for anything including writing. I was running into my room, throwing everything down, picking up what I needed and running out again.

I did a lot of running around last week, you may or may not hear about it. I haven’t decided. So, you probably want me to get on with this week’s post, right? Here goes…

Due to the manic crazy week, I have had to spend all today catching up on college work, finding everything I have left lying around, putting things back where they belong, finding the clean clothes pile etc. Basically, sorting my room and myself out ready for the week ahead. Throwing all my rubbish away was also part of the deal so I was thinking what a great time to change my bed to Christmassy winter bedding. Also, if you live in the UK you will know over the past week or so temperatures have dropped dramatically, and it has been quite chilly. If you are like me and freeze in the summer, this means staying warm in the winter it is ridiculous. But there is a slight downfall – they can be very pricy. I think mine was around £100 for everything twice, but I do have 6 pillows on my bed so it wouldn’t be that much for one set. I think for the full set it came to about £40.

I had never seen these bed sheets before in my life. My Grandparents knew I struggle to stay warm, saw these in the shop and thought it would be a great birthday present which they were. Then when they went down a treat they got me another set for Christmas, that way over the winter months I could take them off and while they are being washed, I can use the second set. Not going to lie, they alternate on my bed for about 6 months before I finally decide it is too hot outside for them.

So, if you have just read this, want them, and cried when you saw the price don’t worry, add them to your Christmas list before it is too late. Or maybe buy some in the sale after Christmas.
