Good evening, how are we all doing? Did anyone get frostbite? If you haven’t guessed… I HATE cold. I love the look of the snow; it is very pretty. But when I am sitting in my house in 3 or 4 layers, and I am still cold… not so much fun. I would like to say here and now that I know people are sleeping without a roof over their heads. I truly do not know how they live through the winter months without a roof. In this day in age, there should not be people who are homeless.
Moving on…
You may have noticed… I missed last week’s post. Truth is… time went by too fast, and I simply did not write one. Before I knew it, it was Sunday evening, and I didn’t even have an idea ready.
I have been working on another project lately. Now that the evenings are particularly chilly. I have been burying myself under blankets and knitting instead of writing at my desk. I haven’t quite joined the latest technology. I am old school, I prefer to write with a pen and paper, or on a word document using my laptop. The less I do on my phone the better. If I could fold my laptop up and stick it in my pocket, I would.
If you are new here, you will have no clue what I am talking about so firstly, welcome, and thank you for joining us. Long story short for you lovely newbies… I taught myself to knit. And like most things… I’ve become obsessed with knitting. So, I bought lots of wool, and I’ve been knitting. Mostly, I’ve been knitting gifts for friends and family. I’ve sold a total of 3 hats, and most recently a pair of crochet mittens.
I have now built up a little stock of things to sell. I have 4 baby hats and 1 adult hat ready to sell. Which I have for sale on Etsy.
Here is the link to my Etsy.
Now you know… why I have been a bit rubbish at writing. I have been busy getting tangled in wool or chasing one of my cats because they have got one of my knitting needles. Even my nephew tried to sabotage me. He grabbed hold of one of the needles while I was mid-project and I had to beg him not to pull it. I would have to start over if he did pull it out, luckily, he let go and swiftly got a chocolate surprise.
So… that’s the story, that’s what I have been doing with my time. If you would like to get a hat for yourself, please feel free to message me here (on my contact me page), or through Etsy.
I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas. Enjoy it!
